PFS Lead Plus is a complete lead substitute and fuel system lubrication formula. It creates an oxide which coats the valves and seats and provides the protection that you need to avoid premature valve recession. Also cleans carburetors!

Hard-working ag, farm and industrial equipment is especially susceptible to valve recession and should never be run on fuel without a quality lead substitute additive. You may not be noticing valve recession in your older vehicles, but it will eventually come to pass if you do not take steps to avoid it. PFS Lead Plus lead substitute is designed to give you the lead protection your vehicle needs without the negative effects on the environment. It does not contain lead and combats the same variety of fuel problems that Gas Plus does including water removal, carbon build up and fuel system deposits. Problem With Lead

❌ In the 1970s, the EPA recognized the harmful effects of leaded gasoline on the environment and public health, leading to regulations requiring refineries to gradually eliminate lead in gasoline by the end of 1995.

❌ Lead in gasoline served as a cushion between exhaust valves and valve seats, preventing valve recession by creating a protective lead oxide coating when the fuel burned.

❌ While modern engines have hardened valve seats to prevent valve recession, older engines designed for leaded fuels require a quality lead substitute to protect their engine components.

  • Operating at lower temperature can cause fuel to gel and clog fuel system.
  • Blending #1 & #2 fuel can be troublesome due to inconsistencies in fuel and isn’t the best solution to gelling.
  • All diesel fuel contains wax crystals that can bind together under cold operation and impair the flow of fuel through the system.
  • Inferior anti gel formulas contain alcohol, which can be harsh on fuel systems.
  • Under harsh temperature conditions, fuel systems need lubricity protection more than ever.
